AB QB Module - Simple test program

Hi:

I have some 1771-QB modules and older Tempo II probes that I want to test.

Not looking for anything fancy.

Plug in Tempo to 1 channel at a time - go to QB status screen is RS5 and see that the feedback is there and the number on the screen relates to the length of the probe attached.

I used to know how to do this, but have been out of it for awhile and no longer have my old backups.

Help would be appreciated.

I could probably send you a PLC program using a QB and Temposonics rod. Wouldn't be a "test" program per se, but is a working program for a machine that's running. Would that be useful?

Hi: Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Yes I would appreciate a copy - Not sure how we will get it to me as I don't want to publish my email here?
Any ideas?

Thanks:
Bruce

Sorry, I realize this is an old thread.

I am in need of a sample test program that will test
both channels in the 1771-QB module. I have input the sample
test program in the manual for the first channel. I have not found a sample program for the 2nd channel.

I have never been good at programming. I'm simply a hardware geek
and work with component level CPUs TTL etc..

If someone could point me in the right direction on modifying the single channel sample program in the manual and what to clone for the 2nd channel It would be appreciated.

HI'

Been awhile since I have been on here. I now have a simple test setup and can email you the code I am using.

Hopefully the Mods can put us together.
